Why even get a reading?

Tarot readings have been an important tool used for many years to provide clarity to various questions in life. The cards can address the past, present, or future. Readings can’t predict the future or other people’s behavior, but they can show us what's ahead if we make certain choices. This opens up so much possibility so there's no reason to feel stuck. Oftentimes people wish they had something to give them guidance and advice when needed and tarot helps us do just that. Tarot cannot cause an event to happen; it can only clarify it.

There are tons of collective messages and readings all over social media for the collective and it's fun to scroll and read for your sign, however they will not resonate for everyone. Personal readings will be most accurate. Investing in a personal reading is investing in yourself. Personal readings are also the best way to support spiritualists.

Readings quiet anxious thoughts and dispel overthinking. Readings provide comfort and peace of mind. Readings show us how much we’ve grown. Readings can show us how to better take care of ourselves, by outlining our soul’s needs. Readings can help problem solve. Readings can be helpful when making decisions. Readings provide alternative perspectives one might not have considered otherwise. Readings can trigger someone to reach out. Readings can lead to the birth of amazing things. Readings are meant to be fun and an enjoyable experience. Readings provide inspiration. Readings spark our thinking and push us further.

When to book..

My bookings run on a weekly basis and open every Friday at exactly midnight est. Each week there are 4 spots available for chart readings and 6-8 spots for card readings. I write each client’s name & any details about their reading on a list in the order they booked. It’s best to book the soonest available date & time for priority. Especially now since my availability is getting increasingly limited. If you’re not in a hurry feel free to choose whatever date. At the beginning of each week I start with card readings. If there are no card readings that week, I move on and begin chart readings. I can finish up to 3 birth chart readings a day on a day with minimal distractions. Chart readings with many add-ons I take the most time with to ensure I capture as much detail as possible, so note these may take longer.  Card readings are emailed with attachments of the photo of your spread and either an audio recording file or pdf written report depending on what the client chose. Chart readings are emailed with a screen capture of your chart and a pdf written report.

How to choose a reading..

You get better answers when you seek them with genuine intentions. Tarot readings do not exist to validate your ego. Readings should benefit you, provide you with comfort, and allow you to move forward in your life with a clear understanding and vision of what's ahead. Most spiritualists including myself have policies and disclaimers on what we do not pull cards for so be sure to check mine out to be aware. Never have cards pulled for someone without their consent, so make sure your questions are focused on you & respect the boundaries of others.

Think about your reason for seeking insight.. what is going on in your life? What area of your life do you question? Self? Love? Career? You must be prepared to process whatever you hear; my work is real.

Readings don’t tell you exactly what to do and make everything perfect. Keep in mind that readings will not always validate you or tell you exactly what you want to hear. Understand that myself or any tarot reader’s position is to simply tell you everything we see. Tarot readers cannot make decisions for you, only show you possible outcomes. Readings provide you with the tools needed for you to then do the work to take those next steps for yourself.

Purpose/Intention-

It's most common to choose questions based on a situation we’re currently experiencing or that is affecting us. If you’re ever unsure of a specific question to ask, book a general reading and request messages and advice from Spirit. That way you get the messages your spiritual team (angels, ancestors, and guides) want you to hear in that exact moment.

Self Awareness-

• Birth Chart Reading

  • This is the best possible birthday gift anyone could ever give themselves. If you’ve started your self discovery journey and have no idea where to start this is the reading for you! Birth charts are representative of your entire life and you gotta learn yourself to know who you are right? Imagine 10 pages written just for you, about you so you can know even more about yourself! This is my most booked service and a client favorite because of how specific and accurate my interpretations are for each placement. My clients always jokingly ask if I spy on them to write my reports because I’m able to connect with them in a way that's so personal without ever meeting them. I personally find my ability to do that really cool. I really get all in your business with this reading so book within your boundaries!  Again, 10 pages, unique interpretations for each planet and aspect, written + personalized for YOU. I recommend getting the degrees, annual profection, and life path number add ons! I explain your big 3 and personal planets, breakdown all 12 house cusps in detail individually, the planets in each house, note special features you may have, and provide explanation as to how your planet’s interact (aspects).

    • Add-Ons Breakdown:

    • Annual Profection- This refers to the house that is currently being activated in your chart based on what age you are. The themes of the house being activated will be most highlighted that year. Look into annual profection charts so you can see a visual representation of the wheel I use to write these. When you’re born, you’re in your 1H profection year. Age 2 is 2H profection year and so on for all 12 houses. It restarts every 12 years so age 12 would be the second 1H profection year. Ex: Someone who is 20 years old is currently experiencing their 9H year. 9H deals with travel, higher education, belief systems, etc. so they could be starting college/university, taking an important trip, or adopt a new belief.

    • Born Day- The day of the week you were born (Monday, Tuesday, etc) has influence on your overall personality. This is due to planetary days and hours (each day/hour correlating to a planet’s energy).

    • Degrees- Each planet, celestial body (asteroid), and house cusp in your chart has a degree that correlates to one of the 12 zodiac signs. There are 29 degrees total. Each degree correlates to a zodiac sign providing another added layer of knowledge and interpretation to planetary influence on an individual so book this if you want more insight on exactly which signs influence you the most or why you resonate with certain signs energy that's not your sun sign.

    • Life Path Number- Your life path number is the number you get from adding your birthdate together. Everyone has a life path number. This number can be 1-9, 11, 22, or 33 & describes your life’s purpose and can indicate your behavioral tendencies.

• Solar Return Reading

  • This is a chart reading requiring your birth information. The second best birthday gift anyone could ever gift themselves. Solar return is essentially your birthday when the sun returns to the exact position it was in when you were born. The planets move to each sign on different days each year so this chart changes every year according to your birthday. It's different to your birth chart which remains the same for your entire life. Every year you have a new chance to see what the year has in store for you. I recommend booking this towards the end of the previous year or very beginning of the year you want the interpretation for.

  • This is a tarot reading. This spread for those currently dealing with someone whether it’s a relationship, friends with benefits, marriage, situationship, etc. This one will highlight any issues within the connection as well as strengths. This is a good service to book if you’re contemplating making a move in your relationship, want to see where its headed, want to commit further, want to break up, want to work on any issues, or just strengthen the union. Book this service and we’ll sort out all of your connection’s issues so you can progress together.

• Synastry Reading

  • This is a chart reading requiring your birth information and another person’s. Synastry readings are helpful for understanding the dynamic of any type of connection, but most commonly romantic relationships. Synastry charts are essentially one person’s chart overlapping another’s to make note of the aspects between both people’s planets. Book this if you’re trying to understand your relationship and partner even further. Synastry can even help you figure out what connects you two and the reason you’re together. Synastry readings can show both partner’s love languages and know what to work on as a couple. Karmic, soulmate, or past life partnerships often can be shown through synastry so if you’re really trying to figure you and another person this is your best bet.

  • This is a tarot reading. This spread is all about shining the light on YOU for the gifted, talented person you are. If you love to be gassed up, this is the reading for you (Leo and Aquarius placements I’m especially talking to you). Learn a new talent that you have that you were previously unaware of. This is a great choice for those working on their chakras, especially heart, solar plexus, or crown.

  • This is a tarot reading. This is best if you’ve been experiencing blockages in your life and just can’t seem to figure out why things keep going wrong because it helps pinpoint issues of each chakra so you’ll know the problem exactly from the source. A lot of people resonate with this reading because each chakra tends to correlate with a part of their life.

  • This is a tarot reading. Just because you’re on a self love journey does not mean there's no need for romance in your life. This spread is for those manifesting romantic love and wanna know what their options are and what they need to focus on to be more open & receptive to love. Manifest someone who loves how you love!

  • This is a tarot reading. I did this reading on myself when creating Sugar Tarot.. need I say more? Every single creative needs to book this service when formulating new projects or business ideas. This is geared towards business, career which will ultimately lead to finances. If you’re starting a new business, planning a new income, etc book this so we can work through what options lead you to the best possible revenue/outcome. Even if the project has already begun or been released, Version 1 can monitor its progress.   • This is a tarot reading for creatives, business owners, entrepreneurs, anyone with goals or working towards something. This is specifically for ideas still in the beginning stages. When it’s just a dream, thought, or idea. 

• New/Full Moon Reading

  • Moon energy can be super creative if you know how to work with its cycles. New moon would be best to begin your creative process and by the full moon the project would be near completion if not completed. Book to this service if you need help beating procrastination and setting the intention of success.

Astrology Enthusiasts-

• Cosmic Forecast

  • This is a chart reading requiring your birth information. Interested in knowing what the planets are doing and how that influences your chart aka your life? Even if you’re not an astrologer yourself it's interesting tracking the movement of planets which are called transits. This reading is for fun! This could be beneficial for you if there's a special or significant day, anniversary, event, etc coming up that you wanna be absolutely prepared for.

Shadow Work/Inner Child Work-

• New/Full Moon Reading

  • This is a tarot reading. Working with the moon cycles is excellent to do when healing because you’re working with the energy that's already there. Moon energy is especially helpful for purging and releasing. The new and full moons in particular are both great points for reflection on your emotional experiences.

Beautiful Reading- This is a tarot reading. Not only is this service named after me, I find it really useful in highlighting your personal strengths. Not everyone is aware of all of their talents and gifts, but everyone deserves to hear how worthy they are. Plus hearing another great thing about yourself is super satisfying no? If you suffer from Main Character Syndrome or just need a boost in confidence you definitely need to book this reading! Ask my clients this reading truly hits different because of its uplifting nature and the energy is very fitting to the name.

General Tarot Reading- This is a tarot reading. You can never go wrong with the original and classic. This spread is pretty universal and can work for any situation. If you ever just wanna book, but don’t have a specific purpose this should be your go-to. This also works good as a check in, if you just wanna see what's up, but not necessarily in accordance with the moon cycle. Perfect if you have 2 questions and want a piece of advice or you’re facing a decision and have 2 choices.

Emergency Reading- This service can only be booked for tarot readings. Think of this like overnight/1 day shipping, but for tarot readings. This isn’t its own service, but for clients needing insight sooner. This is the most suitable service to book because of its timely fashion. This is the only service with a turnover rate of 24 hours meaning if you book this, you receive your reading within the next day.

Bottom Line:

You should be booking Sugar Tarot services because you won’t find this particular gift and expertise anywhere else. My readings are carefully crafted, intuitive, and meant to provide my clients with faith in their situations and most importantly within themselves. Fair warning, they may make you cry, but my clients reassure me it’s because they feel so seen and connected. All of my services are bomb because each one of them was formulated by me.
