End of 2022 Updates

Merry Christmas to those that celebrate and I hope everyone has been enjoying their holiday season. Enjoy time with loved ones, stay warm and blessed. To be honest, this holiday season feels very different and off compared to previous years. I’m not sure what the exact cause of this, but I believe it to be a combination of unpleasant factors. Just know if you’re not feeling the spirit this year, you’re not alone. Still create those special memories and traditions. Despite it being the holidays, I haven’t stopped working super hard. Some much needed rest is in order.

First of all..

Let’s acknowledge how long it’s been and our new space. Feel free to explore everything this new platform has to offer. I kept the same domain and website, but instead opted to redesign, rebrand, and thus relaunch. I hope this refined elegant taste suits you as well. Pink and orange are personally my favorite colors however, this year has taught me that Sugar Tarot is much bigger than myself. I chose shades of brown to represent the various shades of melanin in which people of color like myself come in. Sugar Tarot is for all spiritual beings. Everyone regardless of their background is to feel seen at Sugar Tarot.

Since my solar return back in September, I’ve been learning a lot about myself as a woman. A large part of that is recognizing what is most important to me and what I stand for. That would be equal representation and inclusion. The events happening in the world have inspired me to respond with even more empathy and exhibit grace. As I’m in this new elegant phase of life, I began to think of ways to implement this welcoming energy, peace, and comfort into my brand. I started building a new website completely from scratch over a month ago and the new logo, visuals, and everything else took a while to create, but eventually came together flawlessly. I wanted to introduce a completely new aesthetic thats universal and timeless. As I grow and mature, I envision my brand doing and reflecting the same.

As 2023 begins, look forward to many exciting things already in the works. Wishing anyone reading this a very prosperous, safe, and abundant 2023!

There will be many opportunities for this throughout the year as you can sign up each week with the spots available. This is a feature I’m really excited to bring back because I pray all the time for myself as well as others. I used to do this publicly as well through both my Instagram and Twitter accounts. I’m most happy this has come full circle and has it’s own distinct home on my main platform. The great thing about prayer is it can lift you up at any time, for any reason you don’t necessarily have to be “going through something”.

Schedule Changes- We are currently operating on an open Monday-Thursday schedule with emergency readings available on select weekends. This will be in effect until we are clear on our Spring Semester schedule stay tuned. Bookings will still be open for the following week & all available days will be shown. As stated in our booking policy, availability is set to change at our discretion. Thank you for your compliance and understanding.

Social Media Posting- We are forming a new plan to stay consistent and post on all platforms. Any and all updates will always be posted from our official social media platforms. Links to these are posted at the top of our website and booking page. This main domain sugartarot.com is where you can catch ALL Sugar Tarot content: important updates such as this one, readings, threads, etc. will mainly be found here.

Personal Update- This upcoming spring semester will be my last to complete my master’s graduate program. This is a very big milestone accomplishment that I haven’t shared much about since I started almost 2 years ago, but have always pursued full time. The journey of graduate school for sure has been the most tedious yet. I’m set to graduate this May with a Master’s of Arts in Forensic Psychology. Due to the urgency towards finishing my final requirements, my availability will be super limited and your understanding of this is much appreciated. Delays may occur and as always will be communicated in advance.
